Preparing Students for the Digital Economy

In the Classroom
E-Business Academy students at Century High School learn how to build, launch, and manage real digital businesses. Through hands-on, project-based learning, students explore entrepreneurship, digital marketing, e-commerce platforms, financial literacy, branding, and customer experience design.
They develop business plans, analyze markets, create products, and use real-world tools to simulate modern online enterprises.
Students also build essential professional skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, communication, and adaptability, preparing them for both college and today’s fast-paced digital economy.
Outside of the Classroom
Beyond the classroom, E-Business Academy students gain real-world exposure through industry visits, guest speakers, business pitch competitions, college tours, and mentorship from entrepreneurs and professionals. These experiences help students see how digital businesses operate in real time and connect learning to real career pathways.
Students often showcase their ideas through presentations, pop-up shops, online storefronts, and community-based projects, building confidence, professionalism, and a strong foundation for future careers in business, marketing, and technology.
